Fiber-optic sensors: recent developments

Abstract

This paper reviews recent work at NRL on fiber-optic sensors. In particular, we discuss magnetic field sensors, optimum fiber specifications for acoustic sensors, and the properties of coherence and low-frequency noise in GaAIAs lasers.
