Polar coordinate method for all-optical regeneration of star-QAM signals

Abstract

An all-optical regeneration method of polar coordinates for star-QAM signals is proposed. Our simulation results show that the star-QAM regenerator has a noise reduction ratio (NRR) of 10.37dB for the input EVM of 11.46% .
