Data Spectral Encoding Method with Pulsed Terahertz Sources

Abstract

In this paper we use terahertz pulses to obtain broad quasi-discrete spectrum suitable for high capacity data transfer. Method based on interference of two terahertz pulses in frequency domain. Frequency comb with seven elements was obtained experimentally. Information can be transmitted with speed of 6.125 MB/s theoretically by this method.
