Incoherent-light temporal compression of microwave signals using a ‘time-domain eye’ system

Abstract

We propose a novel design for temporal imaging, combining the advantages of using incoherent light (long aperture) and a time lens (high resolution). We demonstrate temporal compression of microwave signals with a time-bandwidth product >300.
