Non-reciprocal light storage in a silica microsphere

Open Access Open Access

Abstract

We have reported an experimental demonstration of Brillouin-scattering-induced transparency (BSIT) in a silica microsphere. Because of the phase-matching requirement, the non-reciprocal light storage based on the BSIT process is also observed in our experiment.
