Influences of Metal Nanoparticles on the Photoelectrochemical Activity of Silicon Nanowires for Photon Harvesting

Abstract

Photoelectrochemical responses of silicon nanowires (SiNWs) decorated with silver nanoparticles (AgNPs) were investigated. Influences of the AgNPs on the photon-harvesting performances were unveiled and demonstrated to be applicable to other metal nanoparticles.
