A Quasi Surface Wave Assisting Interaction of TE-polarized Light with Metallic Micro/nano-structures

Abstract

We introduce a quasi TE surface wave at metal surfaces mimicking surface plasmons, which enables manipulation of TE-polarized light in micro/nano-structures that is originally precluded in mesoscopic optical interactions.
