A MEMS-Based 3-D Movable Metamaterials

Abstract

A new shape of metamaterials and actuation mechanism are proposed and demonstrated. This reconfigurable metamaterials was constructed by electric split-ring resonators. The experimental results show this device reveals polarization dependence and blue shifting of spectrum.
