Third-harmonic-assisted four-wave mixing in microresonator-based Kerr frequency comb generation

Abstract

We propose a novel scheme to generate platicon in normal dispersion Si3N4 microresonator with the assistant of the third-harmonic generation. The single platicon is obtained when the first sideband mode is coupled.
