Pulse-width electrically tunable mode-locked laser based on fiber integrated graphene field effect transistor

Abstract

We demonstrate an electrically tunable mode-locking all-fiber laser with the fiber end face integrated graphene-based field effect transistor structure for the first time. Mode-locked pulse-width was continuously tuned by 57.6% with control of gating voltage.
