Real-time 80-Channel 75-GHz-Spacing Coherent Transmission over Extended C-Band for Long-haul Network beyond 100G

Abstract

80-channel 75-GHz-spacing coherent transmission system over extended C-band from 1524.59 nm to 1571.96 nm is proposed. Error-free real-time 8-span transmission of single-carrier 75-GHz-spacing 200-Gbit/s PM-QPSK signals over 604 km with 7.5-dB OSNR margin is achieved.
