Neural-network-based Generalized Filter for Inter-channel Nonlinear Compensation in Long-haul Optical Transmission

Abstract

We propose a modified generalized filter to compensate the inter-channel nonlinearity, which use neural network to optimize weights of window function. The modified scheme achieves 0.46-dB Q-factor gain for 51-channels WDM system after 800-km transmission.
