Channel Modeling for Ground-to-UAV Free-Space Optical Communication Systems

Abstract

We improve the channel model of Ground-to-UAV links by tightening the boundary conditions of channel loss factor related to pointing errors. Analytical expression of outage probability is derived. Numerical results agree with the theoretical derivations.
