Abstract

We experimentally demonstrate a harmonically mode-locked fiber laser with a MAX-phase V2AlC-based saturable absorber at 1.55 μm. The harmonic femtosecond pulses (~863 fs) were readily produced at a 1.3-GHz repetition rate.
