Abstract

Noble metallic nanoparticles or nanowires will have great potential to ultrahigh density optical data storage in the near future. The multiple local plasmon coupling may help further increasing storage density and improving resolution. In this paper, a simple but promising method for fabricating Ag nanostructure is described and the optical characteristics with the nanostructure are confirmed experimentally.
