Planar Optic Interconnect Systems with Holographic Photopolymers

Abstract

Planar optics is a useful format for implementing free-space optical interconnects in electronic processing systems. This utility results from the fact that the planar optical substrate matches the geometry of many electronic assemblies and a large number of optical elements can be integrated to form a complete optical distribution system.
