Abstract

This paper describes wideband “orthogonal duobinary mode splitting”, which realizes simple modulation and demodulation of novel bandwidth-efficient RZ formats, duobinary CS-RZ and CS-RZ DPSK, at channel rates over 40 Gbit/s.
