Abstract

The evaluation and management of the fiber dispersion along the fiber is important in many applications, for example; optical soliton transmission[1] and an optical FDM system affected by four-wave mixing[2]. However, the distribution of dispersion can not be measured using conventional measurement techniques[3],[4].
