Time-slice: Evaluation of SDM Lightpath Switching RMCSA Algorithms

Abstract

We investigate the potential of using SDM-EON for solving the problem of network resources exhaustion in current optical networks. We propose SDM Lightpath Switching RMCSA algorithms for decreasing blocking probability due to spectrum fragmentation.
