Controllable birefringence in graphene-based anisotropic metamaterials

Abstract

We present anisotropic metamaterial nanostructure based on graphene to act as a potentially ultrafast voltage-controlled polarizer, suitable for any application requiring polarization splitting or nonmechanical beam steering.
