High Spatial Density Few-mode Multi-core Fiber for Dense Space Division Multiplexing Transmission

Abstract

We review recent progress on multi-core fiber with few-mode cores and introduce our highest spatial density 6-mode multi-core fiber with a low differential mode delay, a low crosstalk and a feasible cladding diameter.
