Tunable multi-wavelength fiber laser using polarization and wavelength dependent loss

Abstract

We report a continuously tunable multi-wavelength fiber laser with a tuning range of 30 nm over 1530–1560 nm. The actively mode-locked laser generates pulses at 10 GHz repetition rate and 13 ps pulse width.
