True 3D Second Harmonic Generation Imaging via a Novel Laterally-Rotating Platform

Abstract

A new laterally-rotating platform allows SHG imaging of specimens from multiple angles, producing true 3D images of collagen. Registered and reconstructed images produce full 3D, highly resolved collagen fibers in tendon and ovarian tissues.
