Spatially resolved Raman spectroscopy of head and neck squamous cell carcinoma

Abstract

Cancer margin identification is critical to resection of diseased tissue. We investigate healthy and diseased tissue using Raman spectroscopy with a novel monolithic microsphere-fiber probe. The resulting high spatial resolution will allow precise margin identification.
