Benchmarking Image Analysis Algorithms for Superresolution Fluorescence Microscopy

Abstract

We demonstrate a method of benchmarking to identify optimal rejection algorithms for superresolution fluorescence microscopy. Simulations show that a minimum photon count of ~3/4 the mean photon count per molecule yields acceptable performance.
