Abstract

The optical projection tomography microscope (OPTM) acquires three-dimensional images of single cells with isometric high resolution both in absorption and fluorescence modes, employing computed tomographic image reconstruction. The three-dimensional chromosome structure of a female muntjac cell is shown.
