Measurement of the Raman Self-Frequency Shift of a Temporal Cavity Soliton

Abstract

We measure the Raman self-frequency shift of temporal cavity solitons over one free spectral range of detunings in a fiber resonator The relationship is found to be quadratic, in agreement with simple theoretical arguments.
