Generation of Photon-Plasmon Quantum Entanglement in Nonlinear Metamaterials

Abstract

We predict high efficiency of paired photon-plasmon generation through spontaneous nonlinear wave mixing, rigorously accounting for dispersion and losses, and reveal broadband enhancement at the topological transition in hyperbolic metamaterials.
