Towards compact coherent and broadband all-normal mid-infrared supercontinuum source

Abstract

We present compact and cost-efficient all-normal supercontinuum source. With use of highly nonlinear all-solid photonic crystal fiber, we obtain broadband supercontinuum with pump power requirement decreased by 88% in relation to OPA pumped systems.
