Abstract

We realize tunable wavelength conversion of 40Gbps signals using a periodically poled lithium niobate. The conversion efficiency is –10dB. The device is attractive for channel-by-channel wavelength conversion in 100GHz-spaced 40Gbps DWDM networks.
