Nonlinear optical functionalities of graphene integrated in silicon photonics

Abstract

We experimentally investigate the fundamental nonlinear optical properties of graphene integrated into silicon photonics. To optimally exploit these properties, we also develop a novel approach to pattern graphene on top of silicon waveguides.
