Abstract

We develop a semianalytical theory for random lasers. Within this nonlinear selfconsistent approach we combine a diagrammatic transporttheory with semiclassical laserrateequations. Optical gain is calculated selfconsistently, boundary conditions and spatially varying pump strength are respected.
