Ultra-low Vπ slot Waveguide Based Interferometers with χ2 Nonlinear Polymers

Abstract

Slot waveguides allow joint confinement of the RF electrical and optical fields in a narrow slot and enable ultra-low driving voltage polymer based modulators. We show recent progress with transmission line driven devices and application to analog optical links.
