Nonlinear Optical Properties of PbS and PbSe Quantum Dots

Abstract

We measure the size dependent two-photon absorption (2PA) and multi-exciton generation (MEG) efficiency in lead-salt quantum dots (QD). The results are discussed in view of the uniquely symmetric band structure of these materials.
