Nonlinear Carbon-Nanotube Photonics

Abstract

Nonlinear optical devices based on carbon nanotube-polyimide saturable absorbing material are demonstrated. Thin film mode-locker can achieve 165 fs for Er fiber laser. Nonlinear optical waveguide can be fabricated with photolithography and dry etching.
