Nonlinear scattering and trapping by local photonic potentials

Abstract

We study experimentally nonlinear scattering by local photonic potentials embedded in continuous Kerr media. We demonstrate nonlinear trapping in guiding potentials and resonant transmission in anti-guiding potentials.
