Abstract

Some promising nonlinear optical materials such as GaP, GaAsP, ZnSe and GaSe are grown heteroepitaxially on GaAs substrates and on orientation-patterned GaAs templates by Hydride Vapor Phase Epitaxy (HVPE) for frequency conversion in the MLWIR region.
