Tunable Assembly and Refractive Index of a Cephalopod Protein-Based Material

Abstract

We discuss how the structure and stimuli-responsive assembly of a cephalopod protein variant enable its optical functionality. We establish direct correlations between its structural characteristics and refractive index by leveraging holotomography.
