Relevance of the REPUSIL process for the production of LMA thulium-doped fibers

Abstract

We report on a triple-clad LMA thulium-doped fiber laser with 18μm core diameter manufactured for the first time by REPUSIL process. The fiber provides a slope efficiency of 50.4 % at 0 °C with an excellent beam quality.
