Temporal Instability and Random Lasing in a Brillouin Fiber laser

Abstract

We show for the first time power fluctuations from temporal interference considering correlation over replicas and investigate experimentally and theoretically that the output of a Brillouin fiber laser has the signature of a random lasing.
