Over-30-dB phase-sensitive amplification using a fiber-pigtailed PPLN waveguide module

Abstract

We achieved degenerate phase-sensitive amplification with the gain of over 30 dB under a CW condition using a periodically poled LiNbO3 waveguide module, which uses second- harmonic pump light to directly amplify the signal.
