Intermodal Nonlinear Optics with Bessel and OAM Beams in Fibers

Open Access Open Access

Abstract

Fibers supporting multitude discrete modes resembling Bessel beams or carrying orbital angular momentum (OAM) enable intermodal nonlinear interactions. We review their applications in fields ranging from high power lasers and biomedical imaging to quantum communications.
