Photonic crystal fiber designs for third-harmonic and photon triplet generation

Abstract

We present two optical fibers that are suitable for photon triplet generation: a hybrid fiber that allows phase-matching between single lobed modes and a hollow core kagomé fiber that provides pressure-controlled phase-matching.
