Bottlenecked-Nanoantennas Enhance Bulk Contributions to Second Harmonic Generation

Abstract

Experiments show increased bulk contributions to second harmonic generation in plasmonic rod antennas presenting a bottleneck. Our numerical method predicts bulk and surface contributions to be of the same order of magnitude for our geometries.
