Observation of Optically Induced Transparency in a Microcavity

Abstract

We propose and demonstrate a new form of optically induced transparency in an optical microresonator by introducing four-wave mixing gain in order to couple nonlinearly two isolated resonances of the micro-cavity at ambient temperature.
