Potassium titanyl phosphate at its limits: A study on nanosecond laser induced damage

Abstract

On the basis of extensive nanosecond laser damage measurements we developed a physical model describing a large variety of observations; in particular the damage behavior under multiple wavelength irradiation as it occurs during frequency conversion.
