Integrated Spatial Multiplexing of Photonic Crystal Waveguide Heralded Single-Photon Sources

Abstract

We experimentally demonstrate spatial multiplexing of monolithic heralded single photon sources based on slow-light enhanced spontaneous four-wave mixing. We use a low-loss integrated electro-optic switch to achieve a net gain in the heralded single-photon rate.
