Abstract

A step-chirped PPLN has been designed and carefully fabricated using liquid-electrode poling to obtain a maximum of 30-nm bandwidth for second-harmonic generation. The frequency-doubling spectrum is successfully controlled with tightly- and loosely-focused input pump light.
