Numerical study of Maker’s fringe effects in high numerical aperture nonlinear microscopy

Abstract

We calculate third harmonic generation from a glass wedge structure filled with benzene imaged with high numerical aperture, which confirms Maker’s fringes and coherent enhancement of the third harmonic signal at a specific wedge spacing.
