Generation And Coherent Detection Of Broadband Terahertz Radiation In Phase-Matched Microstrip Waveguides

Abstract

We describe novel waveguide devices that simultaneously allow for single-mode propagation of optical pump and probe beams and broadband THz radiation. We demonstrate generation and coherently detection of broadband THz radiation with <10 mW average optical power.
